Oh Waiter...
Eating out in our
family was kind of a rare thing growing up. The simple economics
of trying to feed a house full of hungry Powell's made eating
anywhere other than a buffet impractical. But times have changed
and on this page you'll find a few pictures of mom and Tim making
up for lost time by dining out at a number of interesting places.
From ribs at Tony Romas to pies at Marie Calendar's to seafood
at Red Lobster's to banana splits at Spires we're making the
dining rounds around town.
The last picture
you might have guessed was not taken at a restaurant so to speak.
This was taken at Champ & Tyris' for Thanksgiving 2004 and
believe me the food my sister-in-law can cook was better than
any restaurant I know of.
