Amos, III was born
the eldest son of Amos and LoGrant in Los Angeles, CA. He attended
Caldwell Street School, Enterprise Junior High and graduated
from Compton High School in 1975. After high school he enlisted
in the Army and served two tours of duty overseas as a chef in
the mess halls. He married Tyris ___ in 1985 and raised two step
children and one adopted child. Today he works as plant manger
for a local junior college and enjoys the bliss of married life
with no more kids (except for occasional visits from the grand
kids).
